Let’s take a closer look at the Yamaha Adventure Pro. Let us know what you think of it. How do you think it will stack up against the competition? Would you get one?
YAMAHA ADVENTURE PRO POWERED BY MAGELLAN
According to Yamaha, the Adventure Pro is an advanced adventure tool that allows Yamaha owners to explore further with even more capability and confidence and share their experiences with friends and family.

Here is what you get with the Yamaha Adventure Pro:
- Portability & Versatility
- Yamaha Vehicle Integration
- Social Sharing Functionality
- Yamaha exclusive Timing Mode
- 115,000+ Pre-Loaded Trails and Waypoints
- Online Adventure Planning
- GPS Mapping & Navigation
As many of you know, I’m a diehard Polaris RZR fan at this point. I will say the portability of this system would be very nice. It can be a pain to update and load routes on the Polaris Ride Command setup. You currently have to do it all through a memory stick. With the Adventure Pro, you can take it in the house and hook it up to your computer. I have had to at times make several trips back and forth to the house, getting the Ride Command programmed with new routes.
What is your thought on the Adventure Pro? How do you think it compares to some of the other systems out there? Comment below and let us know.

I have one, and GPS is just ok. Sense Magellan lost the satellite view contract I loaded Gaia and use that. I do like the gauge screen, but for the price, you would be better off buying a tablet and running Gaia or something like it. They really need to bring back the satellite view to make it worthwhile as a competitor to the platforms as well as more available trail downloads.
