A tradition we’re proud to carry forward

For three decades, this community has gathered at Whiskey Creek to ride, reconnect, and give back to the community. As the long-time organizer steps away, we were invited to carry the torch—and we’re honored to do it. The Whiskey Creek Send-It Showdown isn’t just a new name; we promise to protect the spirit of the event while growing it in ways that welcome more families, riders, and partners.

We spent this spring on the ground with the outgoing promoter and the team at Whiskey Creek, listening and learning what makes this weekend special. The takeaway was clear: keep it fun, keep it safe, keep it family-friendly, and keep it anchored in purpose.

What’s new (and what stays the same)

• The name: Whiskey Creek Send-It Showdown.
• A signature obstacle course. Purpose-built with clear spectator sightlines, safe runoffs, and marshal coverage. Expect a brilliant mix of sand, logs, tires, rocks, a culvert climb, and a tidy U-shaped layout that keeps the start/finish energy together.
• SXS & ATV Fun Run. Low-pressure, high-smile miles—great for first-timers and seasoned riders who want to roll with friends.
• Kids Fun Zone. A dedicated space for young riders and non-riders to play while the big course runs.
• Vendor Row & Giveaways. Gear, parts, local brands, and some very cool prizes—because supporting the companies that support our scene is part of the culture.
• The same welcoming vibe. Campfires, camp stories, and that “see-you-next-year” feeling.

Why this event matters to us

SXS Nation was born from the idea that off-road isn’t only about machines—it’s about community. When people who share a passion gather with a common purpose, great things happen. That’s why a portion of the proceeds supports the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Many of us ride to push limits; here, we also ride to move a cause forward.

This event lets us do all of it at once:

• Celebrate responsible riding and good stewardship of the land.
• Build a gateway for new riders and families to join the scene.
• Create an annual moment that brands, riders, and local partners can invest in together.

Our commitments

• Safety first. Straightforward tech/waiver process, marked spectator zones, trained course marshals, EMS on site, helmet rules communicated early and often.
• Respect for the venue. Noise windows, posted speed limits off-course, trash/pack-out expectations, and a clean-site finish.
• An excellent experience for everyone. From registration to the last raffle ticket, we’re designing every touchpoint to be smooth, fair, and welcoming.

Please help us deliver a safe, seamless weekend. Roles include course marshals, registration/check-in, parking & flow, Kids Fun Zone support, pit & staging, and communications and radio runners. How to take part

• Ride. Register for the obstacle course or join the Fun Run. All skill levels welcome.
