Honda’s New 23 Talon has taken another step to increase the availability of its famous Talon family side-by-sides by introducing the new “S” series for 2023. This move will hopefully satisfy the high demand for these vehicles, as they offer configuration options that cater to high-speed rough terrain and nimble direction changes. The Talon “S” series includes six options in total: two-seater R and X versions and an X four-seater, all offered in both standard and FOX Live Valve trim levels. Comfort-focused enhancements for the 2022 model year make these vehicles even more attractive to potential buyers. The new 2023 Talon “S” series is expected to be available at Honda Powersports dealers nationwide soon.
Honda’s New 23 Talon
In the same announcement, Honda detailed some of the significant upgrades and enhancements that will be included in their 2023 Talon sport side-by-side line. This update has various features designed to offer improved comfort and convenience. Starting with suspension, engineers have implemented a new adjustable shock system for better handling on different types of terrain. In addition, the styling of the Talon has been updated to give it a more rugged and aggressive look. Inside the cabin, the seating has been upgraded with new foam padding and mesh surfaces for greater comfort and breathability.
The FOX Live Valve versions of the vehicle come with updated Showa shocks, offering improved ride comfort and rebound control and more resistance to bottoming out. Furthermore, the wheelbase has been reduced on the R versions of the vehicle, providing a tighter turning radius and better maneuverability when tackling tight trails. An electric power steering unit has been added, featuring a return-to-center function. The ignition mapping has also been improved to make the transition from deceleration to acceleration smoother and more manageable. In addition, the dual-clutch transmission’s Sport mode will now work in low range, aiding aggressive driving and carrying heavier loads with more ease.
