Every year, our group of friends and family eagerly anticipates our special weekend getaway: a thrilling two-day side-by-side (SxS) adventure at the renowned Badlands Offroad Park in Attica, Indiana. This year, a vibrant crew of 22 joined together, enjoying exhilarating rides by day and warm camaraderie around the campfire by night. We chose the conveniently located Off The Trail Campground, creating easy access to the trails and maximizing our time exploring this off-road paradise.

Badlands Offroad Park spans over 1,400 acres, providing an impressive variety of terrains suitable for all skill levels and off-road vehicle types. Riders encounter everything from expansive sand dunes and gravel areas to challenging wooded trails, muddy bogs, rocky climbs, and refreshing creek crossings. Facilities such as a well-stocked pro shop, on-site café, and clear trail markings enhance the visitor experience. Safety is prioritized, with required safety flags, helmet recommendations, and strict rules against alcohol on trails, ensuring family-friendly enjoyment.

Upon arrival, our group enthusiastically prepared our SxS vehicles and quickly immersed ourselves in trail riding. Amenities included clean bathhouses, a camp store, picnic tables, and fire rings, enhancing our relaxation after exciting days on the trails. The campground’s friendly atmosphere was perfect for families and groups, with ample opportunities for socializing and unwinding together.
