A look at the CheckTech Polaris scan tool.
The Check Tech Polaris Scanner is a PC compatible diagnostic tool for Polaris 2009-Current ATV’s/UTV’s and 2012 current snowmobiles. This is a must-have tool for independent shops or backyard tinkerers who don’t want to go to the dealer to fix their machine.

I can tell you that the CheckTeck Polaris scan tools works.
I have used it on my son’s 2017 RZR XP 1000 that we have been battling a miss fire code all summer. After many trials of replacing parts and a trip to the dealer (they wanted to replace the entire wiring harness).
As a result, I found the Check Tech scan tool. You can see in the pictures it has a very nice dashboard. It can display multiple gauges on this screen. It can also graph the different sensors. The scanner is what help me find the problem. As a result of graphing the sensors, I was able to see the T-map sensor randomly showing a 0 reading. I replaced that sensor, and it now had a consistent reading, but we still had the misfire. After watching more sensors, the throttle position also showed a random 0 reading. I then started messing with the harness plug, and you could see the numbers bouncing all over on the graph. The harness plug was replaced and that fixed the problem.
I can’t say enough good things about the CheckTeck Polaris scan tool. If you do any of your work, you need one of these. It can also read and clear trouble code.
