Can-Am is raising the stakes for the 2025 Dakar Rally with the debut of its revolutionary Maverick R platform. The iconic brand, part of BRP Inc., has announced that it will compete in the T4 Side-by-Side Vehicle (SSV) Class with a stellar team of factory drivers and support from South Racing. This marks a significant milestone as the Maverick R platform hits the FIA-sanctioned Rally Raid scene for the first time.

Can-Am has assembled a team of seasoned racers to pilot the Maverick R through the grueling 12-day, 8,000-kilometer race in Saudi Arabia. The lineup includes:

• Sara Price (USA) – 2023 Dakar Rally stage winner and trailblazing female driver.

• Jeremias Gonzalez Ferioli (Argentina) – Three Dakar Rally stage wins to his name.
