Honda’s preliminary specifications list a 1,067-pound curb weight, 8.7 inches of ground clearance, a 450-pound bed rating and 1,000-pound towing capacity. For 2026, Honda revised the gearing and said the result was a 23 percent increase in top speed. That model year also brought updated shift mapping, under-seat storage and cabin changes intended to reduce heat.

The 2026 Pioneer 520 carried a $10,999 MSRP plus an $885 destination charge. Those are prior-year figures, not confirmed 2027 pricing. Until Honda publishes the new numbers, shoppers cannot make a fair price comparison with leftover 2026 machines or current compact competitors.
